Adityanath’s Solution To Mathura’s Monkey Menace: Recite Hanuman Chalisa
According to Adityanath, monkeys won't harm those who follow these instructions.
The menace of monkeys in the popular pilgrimage city of Mathura has been a problem for both tourists and residents.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday, suggested that individuals should recite the Hanuman Chalisa and do a puja to keep monkeys away, reported ANI.
Mai yahan aaya to mujhse kaha gaya ki yahan par bandar bade pareshan kar rahe hain. Maine kaha 'Bajrang Bali' ki aarti karna shuru karo, 'hanuman chalisa' ka path karo, bandar kabhi nuksaan nahin pahuchayega: UP CM Yogi Adityanath in Mathura (31.08.18) pic.twitter.com/NRDgGRWmvg

According to Adityanath, monkeys won’t harm those who follow these instructions.
Actress Hema Malini, while contesting 2014 Lok Sabha Elections from Mathura, had promised to tackle the monkey problem by developing a ‘monkey safari’ in the district. However, not much has been done on the front.
The chief minister’s ‘innovative’ solution is one of the better excuses made for administrative incompetence.
