Amit Shah Goofs Up, Forgets Ram Vilas Paswan’s Party’s Name (Watch Video)

Sharing the stage with Nitish Kumar and Ram Vilas Paswan, BJP chief Amit Shah on December 23 experienced a faux pas when he momentarily forgot the name of Paswan’s party, the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP).
Shah who was announcing the final seat-sharing agreement in Bihar for 2019 Lok Sabha elections — according to which the BJP and the JD(U) would each contest on 17 seats, while six would be left for the LJP — not just forgot about LJP, he also accidentally mentioned Upendra Kushwaha’s RLSP as part of the National Democratic Alliance.

Kushwaha had recently resigned as the Union Minister of State for Human Resource Development and quit the NDA, saying, “The government has been toeing the agenda of the RSS which is anti-constitutional and neglecting & subverting the agenda of social justice enshrined in Constitution for which we have supported NDA.”
