Nation is Busy Strengthening Soldiers & PM Modi is Busy Strengthening Booths: Arvind Kejriwal Expresses Anguish
The PM held a video conference with BJP booth workers amid military escalation with Pakistan in which an IAF pilot has been captured.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday, February 28 slammed Prime Minister Modi for holding a video conference with Bharatiya Janata Party workers when the Indians are concerned for the nation and our soldiers.
He took to Twitter and responded to PM Modi’s tweet about the video conference with BJP booth workers. “This is extremely tragic, Sir,” he wrote.
https://t.co/SIj7AtU0cZ

The Aam Aadmi Party questioned asked, rhetorically, “Entire country is busy strengthening soldiers and the nation, and you’re busy strengthening booths?”.
He added, “If the country is strengthened then booths will automatically be strengthened and if soldiers are strengthened, the entire country gets strengthened.”
The PM and cabinet ministers have been heavily criticised for continuing election campaigning at a time of military escalation with Pakistan following India’s air strikes in Balakot. The BJP leaders’ schedules did not change even as an Indian Air Force pilot, Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, was captured by Pakistan following an engagement with Pakistan F-16 jets.
