RJD has alleged that the police was acting on the instructions of BJP Lok Sabha candidate from Buxar, Ashwini Kumar Choubey.
The Bihar police reportedly entered the houses of residents living in Khurd village in Buxar district and thrashed them for not voting in favour of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
As per a Navjivan India report, the police broke the doors of the houses and brutally beat up individuals, including women, children and handicapped people. A video of the alleged victims was shared by Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on Tuesday evening, as per the report.
The RJD alleged that BJP Lok Sabha candidate Ashwini Kumar Choubey had instructed the police to beat the Dalits and Yadavs in the village. Choubey won the election from the Buxar seat which went to the polls in the last phase on May 19.
In the videos, the villagers can be heard blaming the police for snatching their money and abusing them verbally and physically. They have alleged that the police attacked them because they voted for the RJD instead of BJP.
