Kerala: Two Children Severely Hurt As Home-Made Bomb Accidentally Explodes Inside RSS Member’s House
The police also found bomb-making material and weapons at M Shibu’s house.

A country-made bomb exploded inside the compound of a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) functionary’s house at Naduvil in Kerala. As per a report in The Hindu, two children — son and a relative of the RSS member — were injured in the incident.
Seven-year-old Gokul and 12-year-old Kajinraj were injured when the bomb exploded at the home of M Shibu around 1.30 pm on March 23.
The Kudiyanmala Police said the children suffered severe burn injuries in the explosion and were admitted to a private hospital in the area. The crude bomb, the officials said, was hidden beneath a heap of rubble on the compound of the house. It exploded when the two children were searching for some materials for making a birdcage.
“As soon as we got the information of the blast, we rushed to the spot and raided the house of Shibu,” Kudiyanmala sub-inspector P Pramod told The Hindu. The police found more bomb-making material at Shibu’s home, including three kilograms of aluminium powder, 600 gram of gunpowder and fuse wire. They also found seven swords, a hand axe and an iron rod.
