Woman Accuses Subhash Ghai Of Drugging & Raping Her
Ghai has denied the allegation.
On Thursday, Twitter user Mahima Kukreja shared screenshots from an anonymous woman. The anonymous woman claims that Ghai, whom she considered her “mentor in the film industry”, drugged and raped her.
She alleged that Ghai often invited her to late-night sessions at his place of work, a two-bedroom flat, which he called his “thinking pad.” “He started talking about how he was misunderstood in the industry and only i was the one who loved him. He pretended to weep and put his head in my lap. Then when he was getting up, he kissed me forcefully. I was shocked and left for the day,” the woman narrated.
The next day in office, Ghai told her ‘lovers have tiff and she should just get on with work.’ A few evenings later, after a music session, it became late again and he decided to have a drink. “He gave me a drink as well. It was spiked…he took me to Fariyas Hotel..He took off my jeans and he mounted me. I was trying to scream but he put his hand over my mouth. I was also not very lucid because of the drug in my drink. So I cried and passed out.
Reacting to the allegations, Ghai denied the incident and said that he has “always respected women in life and at workplace.”
Sad that it’s becoming a fashion to malign anyone known, bringing stories from past without truth or half truth.I deny firmly all false allegations like these.
