#MeToo Impact: Tata Group Says Won’t Renew Contract With Suhel Seth
"Counselage's contract with Tata Sons will end on November 30, 2018," said a Tata Sons spokesperson.
Author and PR executive Suhel Seth, who has been accused by multiple women of sexual harassment during India’s #MeToo campaign, will no longer work with the Tata Group once his contract ends next month.
Seth has been accused of sexual harassment by at least 8 women.
When the allegations had come to light, a Tata spokesperson had told ET earlier this month, “Tata Group is committed to promoting a safe workplace for women. We have noted the recent reports regarding Mr Seth in the media. We are looking into the issue and will decide on a further course of action in this regard.”
Seth’s previous clients had also rushed to distance themselves from him. Jindal Steel Works Group, Coca-Cola, Mahindra Group and Adani group had said that they are not currently associated with Seth.
