Modi Govt Waived Off Loans Of Industrialists And Farmers Are Committing Suicide: Rahul Gandhi
He underlined that Modi works for industrialists only.
Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Monday urged the Opposition to unite against the dictatorship of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) and free India from the dominance of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the saffron party. He underlined that Modi works for industrialists only.
Claiming that the BJP has turned a blind eye towards the misery of farmers, Gandhi alleged that the party only caters to a few industrialists. “Rs 2.5 lakh crore were given to 15 industrialists. But, the farmer got nothing… The loan waiver was for 15 people but not for the farmer who continues to commit suicide… his children keep crying,” Gandhi said at the Other Backward Classes Convention held at Talkatora Stadium, Delhi.
He further asserted that the Modi government doesn’t acknowledge the potential of Indian talent and has failed to provide a platform for showcasing talent. Gandhi continued, “Narendra Modi says that the country is short of skills, which is not true. The truth is that your talent is not being brought to light. Farmers, poor labourers are not getting anything for their work or skill.”
Senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot also addressed the convention and said, “There are 52 per cent OBCs in this country. The Congress gave reservation in jobs. Congress gave 27 per cent reservation for OBCs.”
