Modi Namumkin Hai: Rows of Empty Chairs at Modi’s Meerut Rally
Earlier, at BJP Chief Amit Shah’s rally in Agra, empty chairs were covered up with cloth in order to save face.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Lok Sabha election campaign rally that kicked off from Meerut on Thursday also witnessed an embarrassingly low turnout. As visible in the pictures, there are completely empty rows towards the back of the rally ground.
After rallies of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, MP Hema Malini and Amit Shah seeing a low turnout, PM Modi’s inability to gather crowds has made many ask if this is a sign of discontentment among the people.
Journalist Maya Mirchandani shared the pictures on Twitter.

Here, while an enthusiastic crowd of BJP workers and supporters can be seen towards the front, the chairs at the back tell a completely different story.
