Sutli Bombs and Country Pistols? Twitter Laughs Off NIA ‘Raids’
The NIA has arrested 10 people, claiming that they were running an alleged ISIS-inspired module.
After the National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted ‘raids’ and arrested 10 individuals on the suspicion of being members of an alleged ISIS-inspired group, people soon took notice of the firecrackers, fresh printouts of ISIS logo, and country pistols that the agency presented as ‘confiscated’ during the raids.
Further, NIA officials also claimed to have confiscated country-made rocket launcher, which many media reports have cited, is the pressure nozzle of a tractor.
The ‘raids‘ were conducted in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. The NIA claimed that the arrested were allegedly planning suicide attacks and serial blasts, targeting political leaders in the national capital and other parts of north India.
Twitterati poked fun at the agency for presenting sutli bomb and A4-sized printed sheets as ‘confiscated objects’.

pic.twitter.com/HQ5qcz7cdK

Diwali firecrackers, home made pistols and a tractor hydraulic tube “seized” as ‘mortar launcher’ @Uppolice and @NIA_India remind us of Gujarat model of policing while invoking #ISISTerrorModule .
This is only the beginning. Stay tuned… pic.twitter.com/ERBTjZaxxr

It was thoughtful of ISIS Operatives to have kept Freshly Printed Posters in A4 Size so that people can be sure NIA has busted hardcore Terrorist Module and not some Baraat in any average UP Shaadi pic.twitter.com/qzNi5ESe99

If this is the entire Cache, i suspect NIA has busted a Random Baraat in UP Shaadi, not any ISIS Module pic.twitter.com/kvMIll2Pud
