Worrying Signs For BJP: Nitin Gadkari’s Nagpur Rally a Poor Show

In a video, people are seen walking out as Gadkari is addressing the audience.

A very small number of people attended Union Minister Nitin Gadkari’s election campaign rally at Pardi in Nagpur, Maharashtra on Monday evening. The same day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally at Wardha — which was considered to be BJP’s biggest in Maharashtra — also witnessed a very low turnout.

In a video shared on social media, one can see the rows of empty seats while Gadkari was addressing the audience. Moreover, some people even walked out when the minister was still giving his speech.

Similarly, the pictures shared from the rally ground in Wardha indicated that the crowd was scattered and few people were in attendance.

Last month, similar scenes were visible at Amit Shah’s Agra rally and Modi’s Meerut rally.
