Saddened and Angered By Terrorist Attack in Pulwama: Husain Haqqani, Former Pak Ambassador to US
Husain Haqqani said that Pakistan will have to act against Jaish-e-Mohammad, which has claimed responsibility of the attack.
Journalist and former ambassador of Pakistan to the United States and Sri Lanka, Husain Haqqani, took to Twitter on Thursday, February 14 condemning the terrorist attack on a CRPF convoy in South Kashmir’s Pulwama.
Haqqani wrote that he was “Saddened & angered by terrorist attack in Pulwama,” and warned that the incident does not “augur well for the region”.

Noting that Pakistan-based terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammad had taken responsibility of the suicide bombing attack, Haqqani added that Pakistan will have to act against the terrorist organisation.
At least 37 CRPF personnel were killed and five injured on Thursday in one of the deadliest terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir when a Jaish-e-Mohammad suicide bomber rammed a vehicle carrying over 100 kg of explosives into their bus in Pulwama district.
