In a video, Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University Vice-Chancellor Raja Ram Yadav can be heard advising his students to commit a heinous crime like murder if they are involved in a scuffle.
Speaking at an event in Ghazipur, Yadav said, “Agar aap Purvanchal Vishwavidyalay ke chhatra ho to rote hue mere pass kabhi mat aana. Agar kise se jhagda hoga to uski pitayee kar ke aana. Tumhara bas chale to uska murder kar ke aana. Aur uske baad hum dekh lenge.” (If you are students of Purvanchal University, never come crying to me. Let me tell you one thing. If you ever happen to be involved in a scuffle with someone, beat him, if possible murder him, we’ll take care of it later.).”
