SC Asks Modi Govt To Submit Details Of Decision-making Process In the Rafale Deal
The court sought information from the Centre by October 29.
The Supreme Court on Wednesday, asked the Narendra Modi government to furnish details of the decision-making process followed in finalising the Rafale deal.
A bench of Chief Justice Rajan Gogoi, Justices SK Kaul and KM Joseph sought a sealed report from the centre. However, the bench also clarified that it does not want to look into pricing details, suitability or technical details of the aircrafts.
“We are not issuing any notice to the government, we only want to be satisfied about the legitimacy of the decision-making process,” the bench said.
