Rahul Gandhi Expresses Concern Over Illegal Arrests Of Adivasi Women In Uttar Pradesh
Rahul Gandhi took to Twitter and urged his party workers in Uttar Pradesh to take up the issue seriously.
Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Monday tweeted for the release of Adivasi activists, Sukalo Gond and Kismatia Gond of All India Union of Forest Working People (AIUFWP). The police detained them on June 18, in Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh.
The two were arrested when they had returned to Sonbhadra after meeting the Uttar Pradesh forest minister. They have been illegally jailed for the last two months.
Gandhi took to Twitter and urged his party workers in Uttar Pradesh to take up the issue seriously.

The Habeas Corpus petition in the Allahabad bench is coming up for orders tomorrow, August 14th.
Earlier, media reports also suggested that several Adivasi women who were arrested by UP police, went missing after their release.
