#Sahivikas? Rajasthan: Residents Get Water Supply For 15 Minutes After 3 Days
Numerous calls to the water supply plant in the area were left unanswered.
The residents of Nagfani area in Ajmer on Monday finally received water supply for merely 15 minutes after waiting for 72 hours, according to a Dainik Bhaskar report.
After numerous calls to the water supply plant in the area were left unanswered, the tormented residents visited the plant, only to find that not a single person of authority or engineer was available to listen to their plight and resolve the issue.
Protesting against the prevailing water crisis, the residents had blocked the roads adjacent to the water plant. The police arrived at the scene and chased away the protesters.
The residents later visited Rajasthan Education Minister Vasudev Devnani to complain about the water crisis and demand swift action. Devnani assured restoration of water supply by noon. However, the residents had to wait till 5 p.m.
