Dalit Youth Brutally Beaten Up In Uttar Pradesh For Saying ‘Chowkidar’ Amid ‘Har Har Modi’ Chants (Watch)
The attackers reportedly went to the hospital to thrash the youth after he was admitted for treatment.
In a shocking incident, a Dalit boy was brutally beaten up and severely injured at Sadar Kotwali area in Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh for using the word “chowkidar”. The attackers reportedly even went to the hospital where he was being treated and started fighting with other individuals belonging to the Dalit community.
As per a report published in One India, police was not present at the spot when the incident took place. They reached the district hospital after the authorities called them. A tensed atmosphere prevailed in the medical facility when the police arrived. The members of the Dalit community asked the cops to take immediate action.
In the fight, two individuals from both sides were injured, as per the report.
A journalist on social media shared a video of the incident. He underlined that the Dalit boy was hit by individuals who were chanting “Har Har Modi“.
