Speaking to ABP News, Vivek’s wife said, “Which law gave Uttar Pradesh police a right to shoot him. The cops are framing him saying he was in an inappropriate position when he was shot, but if he was wrong the cops should have arrested him from his residence.”
Lucknow SSP said, “The car was crossing but the driver didn’t stop, so one of the policemen fired a bullet, post which the car hit the divider and the man suffered several head injuries, post which he was rushed to the hospital, where he lost his life”.
Uttar Pradesh ADG told ABP News that a case is being filed against the police officer and it is being considered a first-degree murder since the accused officer did not face any threat from the victim.
