Last Day for First-time voters to Register before 2019 General Election, Find the Form Here

Around 13.3 crore of the total registered voters are going to be first-time voters.

Ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, March 20 is the last day to register in the electoral roll. Form 6, an application for inclusion of name in the electoral roll for first-time voters or for shifting one’s constituency is available at the National Voters’ Service Portal.

According to official statistics, a whopping 814.4 million people were registered voters in the last general elections held in 2014. Around 13.3 crore of the total registered voters are going to be first-time voters — that makes up fifteen per cent of the total. Political parties have been working out creative strategies in order to appeal to this segment of young voters.
