Yogi Adiyanath’s Men Visited Bungalow, Manufactured Damages, Now Spreading Lies: Akhilesh Yadav
Akhilesh Yadav stated that no swimming pool ever existed in his house.
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday responded to the accusations of damaging his previous official bungalow, which he had vacated recently. He slammed Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for fabricating the “false stories”.
“CM’s (Yogi Adityanath’s) officials first visited the house and manufactured the damages. No swimming pool ever existed in the house. The photos are available on Facebook. My kids’ friends, in 1000s, attended birthday parties. Ask them,” Yadav said at a press conference.
Many images surfaced on social media which suggest that a pool existed in the bungalow. The pictures also highlight that there are damages in the building. Yadav claims that most of these images are fake.
“Wooden flooring along with many other things in the bungalow are intact. One damaged corner of the house was photographed in a way to make it look like the house was left in a bad state,” Yadav added.
The former chief minister also accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in the state of fabricating false stories only with an intention of seeking revenge for their loss in the recent by-polls.
“BJP was rattled after defeats in Gorakhpur, Phulpur, Noorpur and Kairana, so they cooked up a controversy that I damaged my home. Shame. We are not in power, but we are still distributing laptops to school kids. BJP cannot think beyond money,” Yadav said.
“The last thing I would do is use BJP’s money to sleep, forget taking anything from the house,” the SP chief added.
A report against Yadav has been filed by the UP Property Department with the Chief Minister’s Office for “damaging state property”.
